The Scott County Historical Society has a long history of providing quality educational programs for Scott County students. Over time, the technology for delivering programs and Minnesota Standards for Teaching have changed. The time is ripe for SCHS to re-evalute its educational programs.
SCHS has adopted the following phased approach to evaluation and creation of new educational programs that are relevant, fit teacher needs, and engage a broad spectrum of learners.
- The first phase of this evaluation is a survey of teachers to ascertain their needs.
- The second phase will evaluate SCHS resources available to meet those needs.
- The third phase will be the development of programs / resources to meet teacher needs.
- The final phase will pilot the newly developed programs / resources for evaluation.
