The Scott County Historical Society provides an array of youth, family and adult programs and activities throughout the year. Mark our events on your calendar!

GROUP TOURS: The Scott County Historical Society welcomes groups of all ages. Special programs may be arranged and tours may be tailored to meet your needs. Contact us for specifics at info@scottcountyhistory.org or 952-445-0378.
Groups of 15 or more persons may receive a 10% discount on admission. Tour group operators and bus drivers receive free admission.
KIDS KRAFT: Grab the kids and head to the Stans Museum for FREE fun hands-on kid's craft and a rousing good story. This program is held the last Saturday of every month, 10:30 -11:15 a.m. (October - April, excluding December). Registrations required.
LECTURES / WORKSHOPS: Throughout the year SCHS offers lectures and workshops at the Stans Museum and through local community education throughout the county. Past topics included “WASP – Women Air Force Pilots in WWII”, “Photo Preservation Workshop”, and more. SCOTT COUNTY CRAZY QUILTERS Meet the fourth Thursday of each month September - May (excluding December), at 6:30p.m. All types of handcrafters are welcome from beginner to expert.
ALL THINGS MINNESOTA BOOK CLUB meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Books are selected each December for the coming year.

June: Healing by Jonathan Odell

October: My Mother is Now Earth by Mark Anthony Rolo
November: Frozen by Mary Casanova
December: The club meets to choose books for the next year.
Note: Many of these books are new and have a waiting list. Order the titles in advance to be sure a copy is available.
SCHS requests book club attendees become SCHS members.
