The Scott County Historical Society began collecting the history of Scott County in 1996 with the opening of the Stans Museum. The collections include photographs, objects, books, and archival materials. While the age of the materials is not important - remember 2001 is history- all items collected were either made or used in Scott County.
The Scott County Historical Society uses a database to manage the collections. We hope that by making that database available to you it will aid you in your own research and increase your personal understanding of the history of the county.
